Go outBecause in the Valley, the day doesn't end once the skis are put away, here are 6 family outings.
2 ice rink, 2 options
With sticks and pucks on the menu, we present The Pioneers, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc's elite ice hockey team, regularly play at home throughout the season, from July to April. Sharp, squeaky skates, supersonic pucks, and a friendly fight within the rules—that is, as long as the players stay upright on their skates… A different show, and always a spectacular performance.
Change of scenery, same magic: head to the Les Houches ice rink, facing Mont Blanc. Here, you can skate under the stars, with an XXL panorama as a backdrop. A bonus that makes all the difference: free night-time sessions to enjoy the ice in a different way.

Relaxed happy hour (translation: the kids are busy)
The PlanB Hotel has one of the best end-of-day plans in the valley: a mini-bowling alley with two 15-metre lanes that look as long as Route 66 from a child’s height, and a dedicated children's area with board games, wooden toys, colouring… What about you? At the bar right next door, not too close, not too far, just the right distance to keep an eye on the group while sipping a quiet cocktail.
At the Alpina Eclectic Hotel, the arcade, which opens onto the reception area, is compact and effective. Two video games, a pinball machine, an air hockey table, a foosball table… The perfect spot for your teenagers. And for you, admit it.

One last activity?
The Chamonix Paintball Outdoor Game Escape Game is much more than a puzzle to solve within four walls. Equipped with a GPS tablet to guide you from challenge to challenge and mysterious accessories to help you complete them, the investigations take place throughout Chamonix. Three quests are available (for ages 8 and up), and the investigation takes about 2 hours—but be prepared to talk about it for 3 days ("I told you it wasn't there!!").
The indoor climbing wall at the Richard Bozon Centre is your option if your children (ages 6 and up) still have way too much fuel left despite 3 hours of lessons this morning and 2 hours of free-time, snowplowing this afternoon… And if, after tackling 800 bouldering plugs over 180 m², they still have energy to spare… Read on…
