In the Valley, you can ski your whole life without ever doing the same run twice — especially when you're out with the team of high-mountain guides from Evolution 2...

Mountain Safety Course: The Essentials

Snow as soft as a carpet, views stretching across glaciers, dizzying vertical drops, and long, panoramic descents… In the Valley, off-piste skiing takes you right out of the everyday world. And that’s exactly why it’s vital to go with a guide and know the fundamentals of mountain safety. Evolution 2 offers half-day courses to learn (or refresh) essential skills: reading the snowpack, assessing avalanche risk, managing rescues, and handling safety and glacier equipment. The kind of hands-on training you always hope remains strictly theoretical.

Ski Guiding: A no-brainer

For those who want a personalised day out—but don't want to plan it themselves! The pros at Evolution 2 design custom itineraries perfectly tailored to your style, rhythm, and goals, far from the crowds and off the marked pistes—but not too far. Whether you’re seeking effortless fun in your comfort zone or craving a bit of challenge and performance, they’ll take you where you’d never go alone. No déjà vu—just that rare feeling of living the mountain like a local.

Prerequisite: solid off-piste experience.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., it’s all about serious action. The Evolution 2 Magic Spot course runs for one to three days of pure adventure—no endless theory, just your guide leading you straight to their favourite lines, right into the heart of the ride. Or rather, straight to the spot—the kind that never appears on a piste map and might even be hard to find on a postcard. In small groups of up to six, whether on skis or snowboard, you’ll carve through the Chamonix Valley’s hidden gems on unforgettable freeride sessions.

Vallée Blanche: The Legendary Descent of a Lifetime

Stepping out of the Aiguille du Midi cable car, the vastness of Mont Blanc takes your breath away. At the end of the tunnel, a sign reads: “Crampons required.” The ridge crossing is done on foot, with just enough of a thrill at 3,842 metres—Chamonix spread out 2,800 metres below. Beyond the gate that marks the end of the groomed trails, your Evolution 2 mountain guide leads the descent from start to finish. Over 20 km of glacial freeride, sweeping turns to carve, and route variations to suit every ability—whether you want full-on vertical thrills or gentler slopes and moguls. Not sure of your level yet? Start with the Vallée Blanche Test session—a guaranteed boost in technique and confidence.
