It's Showtime in the Valley

In winter, the Valley isn’t just a vertical playground — it also knows how to steal the spotlight.
Every venue has its own style, rhythm, and audience.

EMC2: The Little Venue with Big Energy

EMC2 —the EMC2 in Chamonix adds sound and light to Einstein’s classic  formula for mass and energy! Beneath a vast igloo-roofed building in Chamonix hides an intimate venue where live performance happens up close.
Each season’s programme crackles with energy: eclectic concerts, electrifying ciné-concerts, dance, comedy, and family shows. The cultural department of ChamonixMontBlanc Town Hall, which runs the venue, clearly enjoys itself as much as the audience — and it shows, it sounds, it delights.
Take for instance Roméo & Juliette by Matrioshka Productions, staged during the 2024/25 season, where the audience chose every role — creating  a version with 5,040 possible combinations.

The Maison des Artistes: Good Vibes Only

Launched in March 2013 thanks to a project led by composer André Manoukian, the iconic Villa de la Tournette has been transformed into the unmissable Maison des Artistes — a creative residency dedicated to contemporary music, complete with its own recording studio.
With snug armchairs, soft lighting, and a mellow atmosphere, the barcafé feels like hanging out at your mates’ place — except these friends have turned their living room into a musicians’ HQ, where talented pals get together for live gigs, jam sessions, and the occasional standup comedy night.

La Folie Douce: A Fever for the Spectacular

At  this hub of life and celebration, everything becomes a show — from the wildly imaginative décor to the glorious processions that set off most evenings from 7 p.m., leading guests from the lobby to the Janssen Cocktail Club.
Forget the idea of a frozen catwalk — instead picture a burst of live performance: flamboyant artists (in towering platforms) swirling through tulle, glitter, sequins and queen-worthy makeup.
The evening continues from 9:30 p.m. at restaurant La Petite Cuisine, with an elegant cabaret dinner and  breathtaking aerial numbers. Simply dazzling!

Unlimited Festival: The Mountain in Full Vibration

Since its launch in 2016, Unlimited has become a cult fixture on the electronic music calendar — and unquestionably the one with the most spectacular scenery. At the end of March, for five days (and nights!), a razorsharp lineup of headliners and rising talents takes over the coolest clubs in the Valley and spins epic DJ sets at the foot of the Aiguille du Midi.
Grab your pass as soon as ticket sales open they go faster than a chairlift in a headwind.
