ConnectIn winter, the Valley isn't just a vertical playground; it also knows how to put on a show. Each spot has its own style, its own rhythm, its own audience.
EMC2: The Small Venue for Big Shows
EMC2 sounds like Einstein's formula for the equivalence of mass and energy… And it's almost there. In Chamonix, beneath the massive building with its igloo-like roofs, lies an intimate venue where live performance is experienced up close. The programming is fantastic every season: eclectic concerts, electrifying film screenings with live music, dance, comedy, shows for young audiences… The cultural department of the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc town hall, which is in charge, has as much fun as its audience. You can see it, you can hear it, and it's a joy to watch. For example, there was the "Romeo & Juliet" by Matrioshka Productions, performed during the 2024-2025 season, which allowed the audience to choose each role, resulting in a play with 5,040 possible combinations.

The Maison des Artistes: Good Vibes
Following a call for projects launched in March 2013 and spearheaded by composer André Manoukian, the renowned Villa de la Tournette has become the unmissable Maison des Artistes: an artistic residency dedicated to contemporary musical creation, complete with its own recording studio. With its cosy armchairs, soft lighting, and intimate atmosphere, the bar-café feels like hanging out with friends. But friends who have transformed their living room into a music-loving headquarters, where their talented buddies gather to host evenings of live concerts, jam sessions, and even the occasional stand-up comedy show.
La Folie Douce: A Grandiose Extravaganza
In this vibrant and festive venue, everything is a spectacle: the wildly creative décor, for starters, and almost every evening from 7 pm, the famous street parade that leads you from the lobby to the Janssen Cocktail Club. Don't expect a static, glacial catwalk; imagine instead a lively performance by high-energy artists (in platform shoes) who burst onto the scene in flowing tulle, glitter, sequins, and queen-worthy makeup. The evening continues at 9:30 pm at the La Petite Cuisine restaurant, with a sophisticated cabaret dinner and breathtaking aerial acts. Absolutely stunning!

Unlimited Festival: The Mountain Vibes
Since its inception in 2016, Unlimited has become one of the cult events for electronic music, and undoubtedly, the one with the most breathtaking views. At the end of March, over 5 days (and especially 5 nights), a stellar lineup of international headliners and rising stars performs in the coolest clubs in the Valley and delivers epic DJ sets at the foot of the Aiguille du Midi. Tickets are snapped up as soon as they go on sale; they leave faster than a chairlift on a windy day.
